turboV70 Posted August 11, 2005 Report Share Posted August 11, 2005 Who else here has started cleaning/detailing? My interior is almost done. The painted accents in my engine bay look like poo. I'm not sure if i'll have enough time before the meet to get them redone I think i'm gonna wash my car tonight or tomorrow. Just have to polish under the hood a little, install the Samco coolant hoses, install the C70 bumper, and I'll be good. Oh yeah, I'll probably vacuum the interior floors, wash exterior, and wax. Or is the traffic counter something else?←nope. that's what it is. last week i got pulled over twice . once for 77 in a 55: that cop was really nice about it. he let me go with a written warning. i wanted to hug him. the other one the cop claims i was going 60 in a 50 (i'm absolutely sure i wasn't) he also let me go with a written warning. I go over the speed on my permit, but I have an el cheapo radar detector that works alright. It's saved me many times! You should just pick up a cheap one from RadioShack or something to save you! turboV70 Posted August 11, 2005 Report Share Posted August 11, 2005 i can't afford one now. I've been trying to drive alot slower anyway. so far so good. It's gonna be really tough not to speed on the way to the meet though. It's 6 hours and i tend to get bored with highway driving.
