Slater
Any one-stop-shop that has a cheap and easy drop in replacement with the factory front and rear door 5.25" speakers? I know Crutchfield is overpriced. I have used www.autotoys.com and audiooutfitters.com before and they seem to have OK prices but there is literally 10,000 speakers to choose from. How about ebay or Best Buy or even WalMart or something? My rear speakers literally crumbled apart (the tweeter) which is why I have no sound from the rear.I will probably be ditching the front tweeters in the dash, so coaxials in front and rear doors would be fine.I have the factory amp so I am looking for something with a little bass. I know I won't get much from a 5.25" speaker, but the rear door speakers have 3xs the bass of the front speakers. So I'm thinking something equivilent to the rear speakers and use those for the front doors too.by the way this is for my wagon, so I don't have the luxury of the rear shelf. RK850
I reccomened, Boston Acoustics speakers.←Me too! I have the NX series 5.25 in front and 6x9 in the rear deck. Love it. You can get a pair of nice BA spkrs on eBay for about the same price for a pair of low-end spkrs at retail. RK850
