Good sound plus stealth factor plus oem plug in

for ~$300 ... about same range as aftermarket setup.

I'd be interested in picking one up at that price.

As for the VADIS update, I know that for the XC90, a VADIS update is required for the HU to register the sub, so I'm automatically assuming it's required for the P2s as well.

Nope, It's my mom's sub (I don't own a V70) and she bought it off this guy locally. She is good friends with all of the people at the local dealership so this guy in parts hooked her up with this guys # that had one to sell.

Sorry to say that the V70 with the sub won't be at the Socal meet...family probs buy my mom really wants to show off her car..I'll be planning a meet soon.
