djcerna
UPDATE: Thanks for they replies gdogg16 and '98S70R. I just got one from ErieVo-Vo with the 10% volvospeed discount. Is there a diagram somewhere how to remove the upper panel were it is mounted? Does anyone have a good cheap salvage source for used Volvo parts? My rearview mirror just snaped off today. I just want a replacement and figure a used one is far cheaper than what a dealer wants for a new one. Thanks to all in advance.David

MadeInJapan
You probably have it in by now but it's very simple. Use a small slotted screw driver and wedge it in at the edge of the little lamp covers (reading lights) and pop them out...then you'll see screws under there. Take them out and the whole plastic reading light/rear-view mirror contraption pops out. You'll see how the mirror is in there...take it off by unscrewing and then do everything in reverse and you're all set.
