sks40 Posted April 19, 2004 Report Share Posted April 19, 2004 I finally installed my MB Quarts RSC-213 in doors and dash. Wow! These things are clean. The detail is astounding. I listen to a lot of acoustic guitar and piano and these speakers bring out subtle nuances in the music that I had never heard before.The frequency range is smooth from low, through the crossover point to the highs. The mid bass drivers actually have a little punch and they are tight.The RSC "Reference" series is lower end MB Quart and a few years old. They can be found for ~ $150 and sound great. I can't imagine how nice the Premium and Q series must sound.By the way, I am still running head unit power (pseudo 40 Watts). Guest bing_0 at work Posted April 19, 2004 Report Share Posted April 19, 2004 glad you like them, if you crave detail, mb quart is your speaker, they are one of the most detailed speakres out there...one thing you maynotice though, is that if you put amp power to them, they may become a bit harsh...but who knows, maybe our interior is pretty well matched to the mb quart's acoustical character.listen to a female vocal at moderately high volume and tell me if you hear any rining like sensation?i have worked wtih those models before, both in coaxial and component form, they were acutlaly the only quarts I would put in cars again, glad you like them! b Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
