AVOID THIS SHOP! EMAIL ME IF YOU NEED THE DETAILS!

These guys used to be good, they have been around for over 10 years, almost bought a car from them back then. After I got my V70R I took it to them put in a new bevel gear and trany flush, everything seemed good. Then when it was time to change the time belt water pump and belt tensioner I had them do that too. I'm not going to go into details but the problems I encountered from them were... Scratching the plastic engine cover on the R, I asked them to replace it. Stripping an oil return line banjo bolt, having to repair it with a helicoil, found metal shaving in the oil when I got it back. The alignment was off because of the oil line repair. And to ad insult to injury they scratched up the plastic engine cover AGAIN! it was brand new! All told the car was gone for a month! And I still had to shell out $50 bucks for an alinement. And then recently I discovered that when they flushed the trany they used the wrong fluid!

And do you know what there excuse was? Well we can't afford to pay to get the good mechanics. But they could afford a brand new place with new floors and offices and coffee makers but can't afford good help? He even gave me a sob store about how they had to fire the guy, like it my fauslt that he didn't know what the hell he was doing! And he is actually telling me this... I've never been so shocked at how stupid a Manager could be! After the second screw up I got them to give me $200 credit in labor for the future. But after the third screw up I said "Never" take it too them again.

This is a warning! Never go there!

I just don't know, guys :( Good results 4 years ago. Mixed results last year. I have a 940t and the trans was leaking from the front. They pulled the trans to reseal the front (converter seal, front pump seal). They sent the front pump out to have the bushing replaced. They showed me internal housing gouges from some previous repair in VA (I guess). They said they couldn't guarantee the trans would leak after repair and sure enough it did start leaking again. I'm out about $900. for resealing the front of the trans and the pump bushing, sigh. Trans has always worked well, just leaks from the front rather badly.
