Guest Guest_jp764ti
hey where should i hook up the 12v "power on" lead from? i saw on that project 850 websight that he did it off of his power antena but mine is a waggon with the antena in the glass.... so can i still do it off of there or do i need to run it all the way up to the wire bundel behind the radio and if so which wire do i need to tap into?thanksjp
nagrod18
if you are talking about the wire that turns on the amp I believe it is also called a remote wire. There was a wire with "remote" written on it on my aftermarket head unit wiring harness.

AnthonyR
850s have an external amp? It's rare, and almost always in R's. I have yet to hear about one being in a T5 or lower. As far as that writeup I did on my site, you probably won't be able to do it that way unless you can find the power module for your glassmount antenna (It should be powered) That or you can use the power antenna wire behind the deck or better yet the Accessory power wireHere's a diagramBasically you can tap into 13A - Yellow/Purple stripe for the ACC wire (recommended) or the antenna wire 3A - Blue/White stripe. All this info can be found herehttp://volvospeed.com/Repair/radiocon.htm
