2000 C70 Code P1174

Recommended Posts

1174?...bank one?...not sure if that's an 02 code or not(doesn't sound like it)....I will have to look it up tomorrow? But since it listed bank one I may suspect the front 02. I was thinking that particular code was for fuel trim I'm probably wrong though?

ok you guys are using generic descriptions ...but I was leaning towards a MAF for fuel trim?...didn't think it was an 0/2 but could be. I didn't bring my laptop home which has all my info in it?...so unless someone else can chime in I cannot tell ya' until tomorrow? The bank one thing has got me stumped?...

Kevin....I bet the car has a vacuum leak?...I reviewed my info and that is my guess...look it over "real" good for a vacuum/intake leak if nothing found I'm gonna say possible 0/2 (front) but I doubt it. Look for a leak and report back, could also be in the AMM ..that is a definite fuel trim code. Clear it and see what happens

Had the same problem a little while ago while my car was still under warranty. Brought it in and they replaced the MAF.
