RWagin
Is it possible to use the SC-901 in the dash of a 850R? I like the idea of an in-dash changer. Anyone done this?

(very well)←Word. My SC-901 won't even play most non-burned CD's. Only about 75% of my legit CD's work on it.

Nakamichi makes an indash CD changer.

Kibim
There's always the RF option for something like an Ipod or any other MP3 player. Yeah, RF isn't fantastic quality, but hey, MP3's aren't either. I think the best combo is stock HU /w CD changer. In dash changers always scratch disks. I've got the SC-901, and it works okay, when it works. I bought a brand new disk from the store last week, and the changer doesn't even want to recognise it. But it playes burnt disks just fine. RWagin
I'm liking the idea of the stock changer, I wish I had kept the two I had when I drove my 93 850GLT...I've used the SC-901 before and they do seem to have a different "feel" to them than the older double DIN series. Thanks for all the replies. larryo108
I have the SC-901 in my car. It was stock. The only problems I have ever had where with playing CD's. Mostly burned or really scratched CD's. I added my iPod to the mix using a Blitzsafe adaptor and a sendstation Pocketdock. I love it. Mostly use the iPod and the FM in the morning. Gotta love Fred Toucher. The stock system and my iPod is good enough to play my punk/hardcore/emo music. I know if I heard it on a good system I'd probably change everything, but I ain't got the cash so I am not going to torture myself.
