Guest Guest
these guys list the HOLLY NOS system as S80 compatible.http://www.seffects.com/parts/NOS05130.htmInstructions for Part# 05130NOShttp://www.holley.com/TechService/Instructions.aspsomeone in the thread said that any EFI system should work. doesn't look like a problem to me to do it this way; except i don't know what effect the dual turbo's will have on feeding the WET NOS fuel injection. My mechanic only has experience with throttle body injection kits, and he doesn't know of any one made for the S80/T6 yet. he's concerned with equal fuel/NOS mixture per cylinder, which you'd expect would be critical, but this EFI way seems to do the mixture upstream enough. i'm no expert (of course!) I'll have to wait on Rob's report, or my mechanics investigations.for the moment though, the ECU kit is awesome! will be adding Bilstein Shocks and ipd anti-sway bars (22-25mm) next week! SkyWriter
I will have a full write up for the Nx system in the next week or two. I will be testing 35,50,75 hp shots. The wet system would be the best to go unless you have a system where you can increase the injector duty when nitrous is activated. Look to gain 100hp on nitrous from 4000-7600 rpm←Rob anyluck with the write up yet? can you say which NX system it is? my mechanic will want to go through the details with me (us dumb bunnyies )
JHEIII874T5M
I think Rob just has the general, regular, old system. All you have to do is drill a hose in the hose prior to the throttle body, put a switch on your pedal, feed the nitrous line, tap your fuel line, and hit it. ROB @ VMS
Im using the EFI stage 1 system. Nitrous is going to be injected before the throttle body. Having a twin turbo setup doesnt matter because it going into the motor after the turbo. I havent had a chance to do the write up yet as i have been busy at work. I will let everyone know asap tho. What you need is the Nx Efi kit.

He likes to do stock upgrades or performance parts from IPD only. no problem there, i've got some really nice work done, and the car is a pleasure to drive. he's balking at this because it's not an obvious volvo made 3rd party option. however, the NX's tech support email thread, and some instructions, and an endourse meant from you (a demonstrable expert) it's going to get easier thanks!John

TorqueSteer
I have finished installing A NX wet shot on my 850. With the 35 shot jets, it is running to rich, about 10.7-10.9 afr's, therefore not producing too much power yet, I will upgrade to the 50 hp nitrous jet and keep the 35 hp fuel jet in there to try to lean it out to low 12's AFR's. I can post some pictures tommorow of every part of the system.
