Guest daniel shryock
So I want to put my JVC head unit into my wifes 1992 240 wagon (4 speaker) which has the factory amp. I've never had this scenario when replacing one my stereos. Can someone explain my options? Thanks in advance!

Guest daniel shryock
Well, I just want my stereo to work Do I buy a mating harness somewhere? Or do I have to find the amp and remove it, then run the speaker wires to the head units harness and cut the cars harness to rewire? Etc...Just not sure how this is usually done on this car. Guest Guest
well i found the amp, its at the bottom of the center console, behind the little cubby thingy. problem is, the units harness has 12 wires, the factory harness has 7 and DIN for the amp. I dont know for sure but (havent removed enough of the console yet) it looksl ike the the car's factory harness runs down into the amp.
