3.  Thats my engine.... and it will handle 3 bars boost with no problem

Richard wanted to run it in his car to pull some wheels numbers off it while we wait on the manifolds and the new wiring harness.....

So let me rephrase..

Your build "3 bar" engine is in Richards car trying to pull some numbers for his 6 month overdue 420 HP kit?

In other words,

If numbers were pulled they would be based on something what isn't R at all?

Hm...

I have no clue whats going on SS. But as of right now that engine has a built crank, pretty worked head, custom rods, new pistons, external wastegate, and in a day or two a tubular manifold. I believe he is still using Rica, but he maybe using my standalone by now. What ever numbers he makes I will make 50or so more. I am running a custom IC, different manifold and exhaust, some special goodies, and I plan to run slightly more aggresive maps. I believe Richard tunes to 11.8:1 AF, I tune to 12.5:1 even a little leaner if I am using water injection.

However, this is one serious turbo... and we're going to have to really dial it in safely to be able to run it on the car without doing piston upgrades.

Basically, I got one 3/4 throttle run in while being careful of the a/f ratio...

The chip in the car is a special 1.5bar Stage One ECU that the guys at powerchips made just for me... And no, before you ask, you can't have it hehehe

I wonder how "one serious turbo" can be making 30psi at 2200rpm though :rolleyes:

From all those Svenske Racing posts not many have given an indication that this guy knows much about this stuff at all. Of course, still more than the people in the R forum :unsure:

Brice knows his stuff though. Brice is the one who does all their machine and engine work.
