Guest Andrew Chung
I have a 1999 S70 GLT and part of the shift knob button is broken. Specifically its the bottom portion of the button. Does anyone know what i should do? Can i order a new shift knob and put it in myself? How are or easy is this to do? Has anyone done this? The car has only 43,000 miles and the knob is broken. I was quite surprised.Andrew

turboV70
if the car only has 43k on it, is it still under warrenty? I would imagine that would be covered. If not, you should be able to get a new one and put it on rather easily. I havn't done it so i'm not sure exactly how to remove it. I'm sure someone here can help you though. BtownVolvo
Probably 75% of the people on this forum have manual's...unfortunatly I am not one of them. This hasn't happened to me yet and I have 123k miles.
MrWinkey
Why not try a search on replacement of the shift knob...I know this has been discussed many times here ;)
