the ünderstüdy
so i have most of the accessories needed to make up teh sirius satelite radio, i work on boats and put them in every once and a while and some people want them and others jsut say take that ish out i dont want it so i get priority on if i want the parts or not. So i was wondering, (this might be stupid to ask) but i would like to run the Sirius radio in my car, if i buy the Sirius head unit or whatever or XM can i run a SUBWOOFER off of that or would i need to get a deck that is XM compatible and which i can plugg the sub into (rca's/sub outputs)?if someone can explain some of this to me and any other information that would be great, thanks. prasamin
okay, to have a sub output, you'll need an xm ready/sirius ready deck....this will have output for the tuner, and a separate output for the subif you get one of those standalone units ie roady or kenwood, then you cannot DIRECTLY connect the sub to it (or amp)....there are no outputs for it on there!just get an xm ready deck, a universal tuner, and the adapter, and you're set!i have my sony xm unit for sale :D
