dealin Posted August 1, 2005 Report Share Posted August 1, 2005 wuddup yall.. ive been lurking around for about a year but never got around to registering til now. anyway, ive recently received a 2-channel amp and 2 subs for free from my homie and im wondering if i can install the amp without having to touch the headunit because i suck jerk at sodering. i ve read several people talking about tapping into the rear speakers and ive been wondering if anyone can tell me how to do it and the tools required for it. thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

turboV70 Posted August 1, 2005 Report Share Posted August 1, 2005 yea. im running the stock hu←well if you want to tap the rear speakers all you would have to do is take the speaker wires from the speakers and put it into the amp input. your best bet would be to use the amp output though. do you have the premium sound with the oem amp? if so it would be really easy to tap that for a sub output.
