BenW Posted August 2, 2005 Report Share Posted August 2, 2005 SO i know that you can get a subwoofer from the Volvo dealer that fits in the spare tire well for P2 V70's.My question is, anyone here added a sub to the system off of the system's power?No external amp? And still have a little control over it.I have the sub and box, I just wanna wire it in. If i had that I think Id be happy with the sound out of this car.....for now. You know, its not NEARLY as bad as the stocker 850 system was (heh heh). But I know that it could sound better. I wonder if the same six pin din adapter would work?Lord knows I dont wanna splice into the rears for the sub. NASTY!I might pick up a 4 channel PPI soon and start working with that on the factory setup.I know I know, good signal to good amp to good speakers.
