V70TSE Posted August 2, 2005 Report Share Posted August 2, 2005 Hi all, Just had a week in Italy Jesus, theyre bad drivers!! a number of problemos1. Got back to airport and when I took off up a hill (windows down, car smelt) I noticed a kind of metal against metal scraping noise it was only under acceleration though it sounded as if it was the transmission because all the auto V70s I drove the transmission wails and sounds almost electric and it seemed to be going with that, it may be nothing but im just wondering.2. On the ECU box is there sposed to be a pipe coming off it, because there isnt one on mine, I took it to the dealer and he just said its not supposed to be there, I showed him the pictures plastered of under the hood all over the manual and he muttered something about there being a redesign and a fan being put in. Is this true or not.3. Thinking about a ECU upgrade, are there any good suppliers, IPD loiks good, can you reccomend a good one that ships to England, with the chip i will want to get a boost guage to make sure no feck ups with boost pressure as it comes up to 12PSi, is there a vac tree like on the 850s or is there something else that you need, i see a little box with three pipes into it one from what looks like wastegate is that the vac tree that needs a T piece in itThanks again for all your help, sorry im a bit of an idiot Ruan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
