RWagin Posted August 5, 2005 Report Share Posted August 5, 2005 Here is how it went down:Pull on to a main road, Rt.9 in Westborough,MA. Hear a fart can and look in the rear view, it's a VW Jetta and I let it pass me on the right I see the VR6 badge, the kid driving is weaving to get ahead of some cars and I decide to hang back enough to still be close but not seem like I want to play.Up ahead the light turns red and I end up right next to the VW with no one in front of either one of us. As he anticipates the light turning green I hear him revving his engine and the fact that he has his hat on backwards and thinks he is tough I decide to show him what the "R" can do. I power brake ever so slightly and the light goes green, we are bumper to bumper(I did get a jump on him at the light) until the TURBO kicks in and I get almost a full cars length ahead, I hear him chirp his tires into 2nd and I get almost another full car on him. I don't even know what speed I let off at but it was probably around 75mph, he thought we were going to race into outer space or something and choose to fly past me, well we got to another light and there were cars in front of us and I decided to state the obvious when I rolled down my window "hey, you just got beat by a station wagon" I took the next turn and he continued on his way with his tail between his legs.
