Dyno Numbers Tell The Truth........

Recommended Posts

John made 223whp and around 210-215 w trq with: Stock chip, 3" turboback, Atech and a 5spd.

His numbers were very good...mine dyno'd around 185whp @ 10psi running VERY VERY VERY rich (10:1 AFR). Noah's made about 195-200ish If I recall Correctly running 14psi, iPd chip and 2.5" catback.

Im working on getting the numbers up right now

nice work Theresa..

err I Mean Doug..

just nned to know how to get into the ecu to change the fuel and the boost curves

Well it's good that you have Zero charge for your dyno runs, not so with the rest of us members, though.

As far as the quote goes, you need to know, I need to know, everyone wants to know. Maybe some day it will make it out of the land of secrets.

approx. 20% drivetrain loss for the automatic so that being said: 221whp/.80 = 276 crank hp. 249wtq/.80 = 311 crank tq = approx. 421 Nm, so this being said it looks like you are a little ahead of the claimed numbers of Speedtuning. I hope this helps. God Bless. :)

how the hell did it put down practically its rated HP to the ground?

*shrug*

I ran two different days. Both were within 10hp of one another.

Uh, k&n panel filter? :D

Also had exhaust work done.

I always felt that my 960 would have kept up with the s70 T5 I have now. It doesn't have to crazy pull over 4000rpm (quite the opposite, the late 960s just seemed to die after 5200 rpm) but it takes off way, way faster and is much more responsive than the S70.

And it was RWD.

And the dash didn't creak and rattle.

And the CD player wasn't a piece of junk.

*sigh*

I really thought about buying another 960\s90 when I was shopping around for another "fun car." But at the time it was just too heart wrenching to think of getting another one.

My dreams of a turbocharged 960.... shattered. :(
