Guest Guest_Ohiwish_* Posted August 9, 2005 Report Share Posted August 9, 2005 ....on hard acceleration uphill, my '99 XC start to accelerate OK then sort of hit a spot in the throttle position and fall of acceleration.....the comes the black smoke out the jerk-end. I can back off on throttle, try it again, acts like it will accelerate up the hill OK for a few seconds ...then...... pughhhhhh, smoke and a real loss of power. No dash lights or warnings, runs great otherwise, no changes in fuel, had this SpeedTuning ECU in for 2 years now, no issues there, What's ya'all think?????Sleepless in Silverdale Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
