Fishey
Volvo factory tool is the only one that really works perfectly.I know that the matco determinator (and Mac/snapon) of same product work but they are unable to do over half the functions. aerialimage
you talkin OBD2 scanners or VST ?←OBD2 I was hoping would offer more info to work with but I guess after using a Vadis system tonight, maybe that is the only way to see the live data and record and so on. Guess I will have to live without all that live data for now.

S40Monster
http://tools.baumtools.com/iscan_volvo.jsp says it's good for '88-'98 I'm sure it would give you OBD-II trouble codes but it still might not do what you're hoping.EDIT: Their PDF file is much more in depth and says it should be able to do everything. I might have to look for one of these somewhere.EDIT 2: Holy stuff the scanner is $2100 and the Volvo add on is $1400!
