RWagin
I was just curious how many people take their brick to redline everyday. I tend to be very kind to my car but I know that granny's with a light foot get lots of carbon build up and can cause problems. Is it bad to go to the redline at least once every day?Was not sure where to post this so I choose off topic, willing to relocate as appropriate and for an increase in salary. (Actually it was 135)

RWagin
For those who regularly do go to redline have you always done so and any problems resulted from it. I had a Mazda RX-7 and that thing only ran well when it went to the redline on a regular basis.Any info on the benefits, besides fun factor, of going to redline everyday? RWagin
On the autoboxes, if we place the shifter in L and accelerate do we hit the rev limiter or does it automatically upshift to 2nd at the redline?
Mesoam
On the autoboxes, if we place the shifter in L and accelerate do we hit the rev limiter or does it automatically upshift to 2nd at the redline?←it'll bounce off the limiter all day long...
