Che'_Moderator
go past 5K tonight and look in the rearview, let us know if any carbon passes thru.←None. Never does. Egts are high enough at 3k on the highway and my fuel is not all jacked up like you guys. I know a few of you are running 10:1 :o
javadoc
Holy pig-rich Batman!I don't blow anything but a small puff of black at startup... yeah, no worries there... I really don't go past 5k unless I'm really on it. Yesterday I probably hit the rev-limited 6-7times, but I was trying to catch the wife on about a 60min road trip, and she had a 20minute head start. Luckily, I caught her Luckier still that I saw her in a pack of cars before I blitzed by her at warp speed.

JPigg34
I try to keep my car under 3k because I drive like an old lady and it saves gas. I cannot remember the last I floored it. Also I'm afraid to floor it because I don't want anything to break.

Also I'm afraid to floor it because I don't want anything to break.←Along the same train of thought......will the engine be more prone to problems when revved high if it doesn't normally? I am wondering because I never usually go over 2700RPM and if I went to 5000RPM (for an example) would it cause undue problems with the engine? Unlike a lot of you people who do it daily?
