daveman
2001 xc70, 60,000 miles.at around 30,000 miles, my car was stalling. the dealer replaced the throttle body.a couple of months later, it stalled again, and the dealer replaced the ABS module. very shortly afterward, it stalled again, and this time the dealer replaced some wire harness. all to this point was under warranty. and everthing has been fine until just recently. at about 60,000 miles, it stalled again. the dealer replaced the ABS module AGAIN, but this time it cost me $1,100 because it was out of warranty. does this sound right? each time it stalled, the symptoms have been identical, but each time, it seems that they have pulled codes that lead to a different malfunction. Bay13
does this sound right?Does what sound right? The price you paid for the labor, diagnostics and replacement of the ABS module, or having different codes that cause the car to stall? The answer to both I would think are yes.
