Something For The Wife?

Ok, I am not big on convertibles but my wife really would like one. She has a company car and I'd be happy to park it outside and keep something like:

in the garage for her to drive on the weekends, etc instead. I have a thing for turbo 2.3L engines. Are these reliable. I like it better than a C70, not sure why though...

Z4 is hot... LAND SHARK.

Agreed, and they are getting relatively cheap for slightly used ones. Much nicer than Z3 IMO. And if it snows, have her drive the company car.

Also Boxter S ca. 2000 is a pretty good value as well. The Saab converts have the worse bind spot and are not very stable at high speeds or in the curves, but my Saab was a rental on the Autobahn in 2000 and I kept it pegged at 240kph. Scary compared to my C230 wagon over there...
