RWagin
Ok, I am not big on convertibles but my wife really would like one. She has a company car and I'd be happy to park it outside and keep something like:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-SAAB-9...1QQcmdZViewItemin the garage for her to drive on the weekends, etc instead. I have a thing for turbo 2.3L engines. Are these reliable. I like it better than a C70, not sure why though...

orange850t
convertible in MA doesn't sound too practical to me but I do like the Saab←actually some of the best convert weather is fall which the NE has plenty of. Windows up with the heater of course.

Figawi
i think a BMW roadster would be more fun. is she really going want to drive a convertible in the winter anyway? if she has a company car that could be the winter car.

C70drvr
Meh, C70 is better looking. I always thought the old 9-3 convertibles just look cheap.

exexpat
Z4 is hot... LAND SHARK.←Agreed, and they are getting relatively cheap for slightly used ones. Much nicer than Z3 IMO. And if it snows, have her drive the company car. Also Boxter S ca. 2000 is a pretty good value as well. The Saab converts have the worse bind spot and are not very stable at high speeds or in the curves, but my Saab was a rental on the Autobahn in 2000 and I kept it pegged at 240kph. Scary compared to my C230 wagon over there...
