We could see what days the majority of the NW Crew are interested and availible, and commit to somthing.Just a thought. exexpat Posted August 26, 2005 Report Share Posted August 26, 2005 so looks like the 25th is gonna be good then? and everyone better bring a present for me!!!and i agree with jermey! i get broad really quickley at our meets, we stand around to long googleing over each other cars, unless there is someone new or someone did something crazy to their car no need to stand at a parking lot for 2 hours, lets go on a longer drives, get some games going (volley ball, kick ball, hoops, whatever) or we can make it a track day and people can race at SIR and those who dont want to can park and google and watch the volvos kick everyones jerk!!←That is exactly my point. Thanks Jake. I've been to plenty of time-honored VW/Audi events that have these features and they sustain/grow themselves because of ancillary activities. The car thing brings us together, but we need to offer a value beyond what one can derive from photos. Track days, dyno days, drives, bbqs, games offer that. My mistake.Sorry about dat!I may be able to make some of the meet... depending on where everyone ends up... and for how long...They MAY pull me in early for the Oyster Run (a big motorcycle event in Skagit County). But I still wouldn't have to be there until 6 PM at the earliest. Plenty of time to hook up somewhere, see some of your rides and get some eats!Due to the volume of this motorcycle event (20,000 bikes+), I would be VERY careful making your way through Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom County (basically Everett north to Bellingham). The volume of bikes this thing attracts occasionally brings out some of the worst riding known to man... and therefore stepped up traffic enforcement that day.
