JCviggen Posted August 21, 2005 Report Share Posted August 21, 2005 I wasnt very happy with my Powershot A310, in particular the tiny lens, poor pics when there's a lot of light and the horrible sound for video recording.So I opted for a Fuji S5500 (5100 in the states) which should improve on that. Not a mega expensive cam but something descent. 640x480 video mode at 30 FPS avi. 10x optical zoom. I'm still having some trouble with all the settings but i've made at least a few pics which are nice so here are a few. These are taken at 4 MP "fine" setting averaging 1.8-2 meg a piece. It has a lot of scratches on the hood mostly, a few at the back...cats and birds... Johann : test1 i did with the window open...bad idea. That camera has 10x optical zoom ???←Yep, 10x optical...I have to say it works very well, it doesnt have image stabilisation however so there needs to be enough light, or a steady hand/tripod...Oh and I believe the Nürburgring sticker cost me 3 or 4€, dont remember, i thought it was kinda expensive for a sticker lol.I'll let you guys know next time we go up there Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I ended up going w/ the Olympus C-7000 (C-70 Zoom in Europe). Takes nice pictures, but I wish it had a bigger lens. It only has half the optical zoom of yours though.I think we need to see more pics of the car . As I've said before, I love it; olive T-5R 5-spd .
