ginkof
If you have a factory deck for your Volvo in most cases the antenna stays up whie your playing CDs and tapes. I had a huge problem with this and it also bothers my mother who has an S70. If you have this problem and it bothers you too this all you gotta do. When you pull the radio out you will see two harnesses going into the back of the radio. On the right harness you will see a blue wire with a white stripe on it. All you have to do is cut that wire, and connect two extended wires that go to a switch and mount the switch somewhere. I did it to my mom's car last night in 3-4 minutes

matt1122
I have to take my Mic out from behind the dash (hands free kit's circuitry went kaboom on me), so I might get around to doing this mod this weekend.I don't think I'm even going to mount the switch, I'm just going to have it sit in the ash tray. :P
