Petr
Hello,Some of my acceleration problems have been solved by new BCS and new air filter (by the way. is it a common experience that the technician cuts off the orange seal in order to make it easier to close the AF compartment?). Also, I most likely got rid of one ugly sound (when gas pedal was rapidly released, I could hear a "thump" that felt like an expansion of compressed air). What still bothers me is that the response of the gas pedal is strange. Quite often, the car accelerates faster when I slightly release it. When I kick the pedal to the metal, It feels like the car doesn't accelerate as well as it could, but a small release of gas improves the acceleration. It happens in virtually all driving modes. Any ideas?Petr
MrWinkey
Sounds like a typical turbocharged car

phantom2323
m.hamilton23@gmail.comThank you so much! I'm dying without my ipod I'm able to pull the bottom of the CCM out to put my fingers underneath, but I can't seem to get the top to unhook from the 2 metal springs... Is a lot of force needed to pull that thing off, or will that only damage it?THanks again. I really appreciate itSincerely, Michael

Petr
that sound is the normal operation of your comprsessor bypass valve. and that sound is beautiful.←Thanks! I'm just a newbie, driving my Turbo for only 2 years and that beautiful sound appeared the first time 3 months ago (~110k M). I hope I didn't screw things up by replacing the BCS - the beautiful sound has been eliminated! ;-)Similarly, I never experienced the acceleration issue before the car passed the 105k service. You guys tell me it's normal - ok I won't be troubled any more.Thanks.Petr
