Vibrating Fuel Rail

Hey.

About a week ago I noticed that at 1500-2000 RPMs I get a very strange noise from the engine. Sounds like a broken exhaust manifold on a Honda Civic (I know this only because my buddy's Civic made that EXACT sound, except his was much louder). So today, I finally pulled the heat shield off of my car and looked. I did not find any cracks or anything and no sound was coming from that area while the car was running. Instead I noticed that the noise, very similar to the one I was looking for, was coming from the fuel rail. The thing is vibrating like a Harley!

I realize that it is hooked up to the engine and is expected to vibrate some, but it is vibrating much more than the engine itself. Holding it down did not silence the sound or minimize the vibration. Does anyone else have that and I just never noticed it before?

I'll look again in the morning with someone on the gas.

Is it possible that a clogged injector would do this? by the way, I was going to (and did) add some Lucas fuel additive after the test this evening. Maybe that will take care of it.

Any idea what else could be causing this?

Thanks, Mike

P.S. I have no codes.

P.P.S. I fuel up at 76 with 89/87 octane gas

P.P.P.S. I have used SeaFoam a couple of times in the gas before (last one was 2-3 weeks ago)
