rodrigo Posted September 2, 2005 Author Report Share Posted September 2, 2005 i bet it's just like those one that are meant for babies in car seats..←kind of like that. it does keep the car a little cooler, but minimally, but it keeps passengers more comfortable fromt he shade...like 90 deg in shade is cooler than 90 deg in the sun. when it is unwound and latched, it casts a shadow over the rear hearrests, hat tray, seat, etc. i would say the 'space blanket' that you place on top of the dash so the sun does not kill your dash is more effective at reducing in car temperatures.because the shade is only on one window, so if sun is coming in from the side windows or the windshield, i would figure its pretty much useless.hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
