RWagin
Edit: I couldn't change the title to reflect that 8 cars were in the test.Anyone read the article about the S60R (standard shift) in the October Car and Driver? If I recall Correctly the S60 was the most expensive car in the test. Also read that because it was so hot when the teting was done the S60 ran to 60 in 6.3 seconds! I found this interesting as this is the group of cars I would consider for my next car purchase.Other Cars in the test wereAudi A4 quattro 3.2 autoSaab 9-3 Aero (now with 250 hp)Cadillac CTS 6-speedBMW 330i 6-speedLexus IS350 autoAcura TL 6-speedInfinity G35 6-speedDiscuss:(FYI article is only out in print)

Asinine
That's kind of a lame poll..like all those cars you have to assume are boring except that they used a R.I'd take an S4 over an S60, a G35C over an S60R, same with a CTS-V.I picked the IS, but maybe should have picked the TL!? grown azz kid
To be completely honest, my 1st choice would be the IS350, then the G35, TL, and THEN the S60R.GaK

matt1122
That's a wacky sorting of cars, what was the criteria for this test?Personally, I'd take either the IS350 or TL, unless it could be a coupe, in which case I'd grab a G35.I take it this was the new A4? Which engine? Quattro I'd assume?
ChuckV986
IS, new 330, R, G35, TL, CTS, Saab for me.That new IS just looks like a winner. I bought the R over the G35, TL, or CTS, so I can't reasonably list it below them. Given some of the reliability issues though, it's tempting. I picked the R over the G35 for the better straight-line punch, versatility, and some of the "exclusive" factor. I'm not a fan of FWD sports sedans. The R ended up not handling nearly as well in dry conditons at the limit as it should have, without suspension mods. Great in the wet though. The 330 is gorgeous, picked the R over the previous ZHP 330 for the price difference, and exlusivity factor.I haven't driven the new IS, so I don't know if I can list it over the Bimmer fairly, but based on what I've heard from those who have, it's an amazing car.
