Playboy
I've been watching my boost guage lately and when I put the peddle to the floor I'm not approaching 15 psi boost like my chip is setup to hit. I'm only hitting 12 or so for a second before going back down to 9-10 psi. I checked the vac tree near the throttle body and everything seems to be fine there. I don't know where else I would have a leak that could cause me to loose 3-5psi of boost. Anyone have any suggestions?-Ryan

ToxicLemonade
yup and intake and chip.-Ryan←hmmm, my guess was that if you didnt have an intake and exhaust that you were just outflowing your exhaust. my guess now would be that you have a crack somewhere in a hose and it only opens up at higher PSI. time to revert back to replacing all the lines. -Ryan
T5BRICK
stage 0? check all of your vacuum lines and turbo hoses. also, a failing MAF can limit boost.

JoshV70
It could be the heat. I've noticed that. Yesterday afternoon I could only boost 11 psi. I went out again yesterday night, and I was boosting 16 psi without a problem.

Unless you upgraded your turbo of course Check for leaks :excl:
Noahkk19
my money is betting on a boost leak...a small one...check all the turbo hoses...its probably a leak that only comes under boost, so it'd be very hard to findSAMCO saves you from ever making a thread like this again

T5BRICK
are all the vac lines hard to replace?no, it only took me about 30 minutes to replace all of mine.how do I know that I have a failing MAF sensor?-Ryan←eventually i started getting CELs that related to the MAF. before that happend i would notice a tiny hesitation while i was on the freeway and sometimes while accelerating from a stop. Volvoson
Stage 0!! I am losing some boost somewhere sometimes (it's not constant ) though...Once you check the vac/boost lines, check your BCS, it could be leaking, maybe?

I did a higher speed run (freeway entrance) up to 80ish at WOT, I noticed that in 3rd gear I would hold boost better then I would in 1st and 2nd gears... LeKid
I saw Silicone Turbo piping available (like Samco) for I/C but where vac/boost lines can be bought? I mean the small ones (5, 7mm) going to wastegate, solenoid valve ...Is it available in lenght of X feet and you cut it to your needs?
