TRACStar
seems like a better idea to take the slash off but I used the steady hands masking tape idea. Now if i take the slash off I'll sill have a chrome slash :D
rodrigo
removing the slash and re-installing would definately be the way to go.

rodrigo
Yet another update...If you are looking for a shiny look to your freshly, or recently, Plasti-dipped Grille, once the Plati-dip is dry, and before removing all the masking tape from the chrome surround, give it a few coats of VHT Nightshades. Looks black, and in the sun, it gives off a slight sheen.Just thought I''d share a recent discovery.:)
tca217
I used KRYLON semi flat ( not to be confused with the semi gloss ) rattle can on mine and it looks fine, not shiny nor flat. Just right in between. The semi gloss is to shiny.
