rodrigo Posted September 14, 2005 Report Share Posted September 14, 2005 so becaus ethe gas prices are so high, i have been using cash since at some stations it is cheaper than using credit. i went to a station today and asked for $50 on a pump...well, its stopped at $48.39, and gas came out, dripping down the quartes, bumper, mudflap. I got a rag out to the trunk and wiped it immmediately. When i got home about 2 minutes later, I hosed, intensively, the gas cap area, the little flap door, the quarted, the mudflap...even into the fender where the plastic comes down.....the car was waxed two weeks ago, and i used a Meguiars Detail Spray on it this past Sunday. The paint was so soft, it kills me to let gas get on it. tomorrow i will wash it again and wax am i safe with the paint? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
