Brickster151
Anyone know of a good type of cleaner to use to clean out the entire cooling system? When I was in Vancouver I had a leak at the water pump gasket, and as a temporary fix I used a cooling system stop leak [in liquid form, not the sand-like stuff].Since putting it in, my expansion tank has had black deposits inside of it. I am putting a new water pump gasket in soon [i mis-installed the gasket when I installed the new pump, did'nt use ant sealant] so before I do that I am trying to find something that will clean out all the crap that the stop leak left in the system.Anyone know of anything good? starfish
There is no specifically made chemical flushing treatment or additive that will remove stop leak type products safely.
