gr8gatzby
I predict that motor will be nothing but a headache, but I really dig the XC90!If I'm not mistaken, Yamaha was contracted to develop that V8(why not the production LR3 V8?!). Yahama also created the infamous SHO V8 in the early 90's. It's amazing to me that Ford learned nothing from that disaster, hopefully things will be different this time around. johnnyturbo2002
These seem to be the exact questions that I vhave been having. I got my 98 with 65k and most of the buigs that went through the car had been figured out with exception of the secondary air pump and the other stuff that accompanies it. I dont want to get into the mistake that some found when they bought my year car new. So if anyone has the common problems on a thread that would be greatly appreciated. starfish
If I were to make that choice, I would choose the XC70 for many reasons.
gr8gatzby
If I were to make that choice, I would choose the XC70 for many reasons.to me, the only redeeming factor to a 70 over the 90 is the fuel economy. then again, if you can afford the latter, gas prices are probably the least of your financial woes. starfish
To me the XC/90 beats the XC/70 on styling handsdown. With that said the XC/70 offers more versatility in cargo space. The XC90 weighs about 1000lbs more than the XC70. They both share the same basic drive train. Guess which one will require more fuel/maintenance/repairs? But beyond that there are still more technical issues that I would side with a XC/70 over the XC/90. Just my $0.02.
