SIAMBLUE
Hi Folks,Just a quiery here on a Boost sciences MBC,I have this fitted about a month ago, with a atmospheric Dump valve and blanking plate over the recirc valve,With the MBC i bypassed the Boost solenoid,as in the instructions to do,But after about a week of running it went into limp mode, and i have now found out i have damaged theMAF,MAF is now replaced,I have now removed the Dump valve and blanking plate,as i thought this might be at fault,The car has now been remapped with a Rica mapping, and the recirc valve is standard,I don't want to fit the dump valve but want to refit the MBC,shall i fit it as before or shall i just put it into the actuator line only?and retain the Boost solenoid?any help would be most appreciated,Gary. freeskier8585
sounds like a coincidence, the maf shouldnt be affected by the mbc....
SIAMBLUE
Hi That's what i thought,But didn't want to make the same mistake,if it was a problem,So do i fit the MBC into the actuator line and retain the Boost Solenoid,or fit it as instructions and bypass it?as it is mapped now,and i don't want to cause any heatsoak,
