I wanted to clean my throttle body, I've done this before but this time I figured why not clean all connectors and what not. So I decided that I was going to remove the black plastic plate which have 4 srcews facing towards you as your looking at the front of the car. So I removed the screws and the thing was bloody tight, I tried as gentle as possible to pull it out...well I pulled too hard and the two wires that are soldered to two connectors broke away. I got all sorts of codes (lot's) tried to clear them and would not clear obviously. So since I dont have anything to solder them back and just used extra wire to connect everything back. This definatly does not look like it would last very long but at least I was able to clear all codes and engine is running fine. So what should I do, get a machine to solder these wires, go somewhere and get it done or am I going to be needing a new throttle body?Thanks,MikeI just read that thread about not posting anything about Thottle Bodies, I hope this one is alright...if not sorry.
