rodrigo
So today, not being contebt with leaving the car well enough as it is, I wnet ahead and painted all the tan speaker covers with a black interior trim paint I had lying around. I can't decide if it looks good, or out of place...the speaker covers.what you guys think.....ok? weird?
JoshV70
Looks better. It matches the dash, and the boost gauge.

Guest DougK
They SHOULD be black as a rule!! They look much better that way.by the way, your a-pillar looks fantastic.
rodrigo
thanks.....cause sometimes you can look at something for too long and go nuts. There so much tan color that its overwhelming, but I dont think anyone that is not on this board would notice the difference. They SHOULD be black as a rule!! They look much better that way.by the way, your a-pillar looks fantastic.thanks Doug...all YOUR cars look sweet...not just their A-pillars

Volvoson
Yeah...its all your fault...oogling at your R when we were at Speedtuning.ps: I still cant get past 9 PSIOn a stock ECU, 9psi is factory and it's good that you can hold it!I'm supposed to get 14.5psi, but I fall short by a little bit, about 2-3psi short. Geevs
I like it! Looks very clean and adds some contrast to the otherwise boring tan monotone.Did you just remove the foam behind the grille prior to painting?

I have not taken it up past 90, but the needle hits 10, then goes to 9, and it drops down a little more. Oliver was telling me that it should reach around 12! Don't get me wrong, the car has some balls for an LPT now, but how true is the 12 psi bit?is it possible I have a vaccuum leak...how do I know? How do i find that...arbitrarilly spraying carb cleaner around the engine bay??maybe its just the VDO gauge I though was sooo accurate I like it! Looks very clean and adds some contrast to the otherwise boring tan monotone.Did you just remove the foam behind the grille prior to painting?Yeah...it was kind of a pain...on one of the rear door speakers i didn't remaove it and it still came out ok...you dont really use a lot of paint, 4 light coats in from different directions to hit all angles of the wire mesh ;)
