Geevs
Thinking of upgrading the OEM system in my R which has the 50wx4 amp with something a little better. I'm considering:- keep the stock tweeter- Crystal CMe 510 5.25 midbass driver in front stock location- Crystal CXe 615 6.5 coax driver in rear door location- remove stock 5x7 speaker from rear deck housing but retain the housing on the deck for bass to enter- Infinity Basslink mounted somewhere in the trunk, wired via the stock 5x7 wiring, power straight to battwill the stock amp be able to drive these speakers since they are combination of 4 and 8 ohms?Any good place to buy Crystal online? Thanks! I think Circuit City has them for $250+ and the BASSLINK II (which is much better design and looks/feels more durable) for $350.Your system will sound good. Go for it. I've also never heard of Crystal except here in VS. Did some Googling and found good reviews. Found them online from $43 to $56/pr 5.25 to 6.5 coax brand new. Pretty good price for a budget upgrade. Maybe Bing would advise where to find these at better price.

I have photos of all the speakers. I don't know about the 850 but I assume they're the same as the S70. If confirmed, you can fit 6.5" SHALLOW MOUNT speakers no problem both in front and rear. The rear's can accept most 6.5s. The basslink is a powered subwoofer, needs no additional amp - that's the beauty of it.
