He's seen both lights, and the force is much stronger with the RWD 740 on a windy road/track.

I've done lots of hard driving with both cars now. The 740 I've done a great deal more granted, and drove it in all stages of suspension: stock, sways, sways and strust braces, sways strut braces and shocks/springs. And the 850 is very worn but still the underlying feeling is that the 850 in well kept shape would be more comfortable and stable at high speeds doing freeway driving, but in hairy situations, I've take the 740 over the 850. It turns in faster, more responsive, and if I accidentally come in too fast, I can control the oversteer and can stay on the road easily, rather than push to the outside in the 850 or be forced to let of the gas and try and rotate the car. Plus the 740 feels a lot more solid.

The 740 was so much fun coming around I think it was turn 8 where I would floor it right as I started to turn then hang the rear end out the whole turn. Also on turn 3 when it started rainging I manage to accidentally slide around the entirety of the turn and do so confidently. I could never have done those things in the 850

Sounds good Jim, I love the pic of your R and Lee's side by side. It's a good contrast photo. Were you out by Napa this past saturday? I think I saw you on highway 12/121, we were headed in opposite directions.

Yes I was.

I was comming back from a track day in NV. and stopping at the B.R.Cohn winery to hook up with the guys from Little Feat. They where playing a gig there over the weekend with a bunch of other old bands that Cohn worked with.
