He does know his cars, but only because he has had many Volvos, and has a dealer mechanic and other contacts who shares such knowledge. He doesn't know the cars on a technical level, in spite of his vain attempts to convince you. He isn't really one who actually does the 'knuckle' work on the cars like those here, which is why VS has more of my respect in that area.SS, judging by its members, appears to have a good number of the white-collar, golfing-executive-has-money-to-burn-and-time-to-kill types. But, a good number are very technically-inclined and hold technical jobs, just not dealing with cars.VS's members are basically younger, and are real Volvo enthusiasts, not just guys who like to drive Volvos.I realize I am generalizing about both forums and their members, and that there are many who are exceptions to the generalizations.
