steve1321
Anyone know how to bridge the factory amp so that I can convert it to a two channel? I want to use the amp just for my rears. Also, if anyone knows how to bridge an Alpine CDA-9847 to do the same thing but for my front speakers. Thanks.
KS_R
go to the alpin web site and look up the bridging instructions. not sure on stock amps, if its a four to two then you may be able to use the same method as the alpine to bridge it. let me know how it works for the stock amp. Thanks. You're trying to get more power by using the Factory amp in conjunction with the HU amp, right?I don't recommend doing that. First off, that amp is already set up to use your speakers optimally. If you split your system between the HU and the factory amp, you may lose some sound quality. Besides, internal HU amps are just crappy. It would be a good idea to either use the factory amp or to buy a new amp. I integrated through the factory amp and mine sounds great. If you really need more power, go for a real amp over a "chop job".
