Its easy but the quality isn't the greatest and the modulator can run you around $70. If you want better quality try checking out Alpine's product line becuase they make all of Volvo's stereo stuff. Go to your local stereo shop that carries Alpine products and see if they have a unit that plugs into the CD changer jack that will give you an aux in.
