lizard.jpg

Last week I was driving along the highway and my daughter who was in the passengers seat yelled out that there was a lizard climbing along the top of the front windscreen on the outside of the car. We were travelling at 100 kph so I was expecting it to fall off with the force being so strong. Sure enough it wasn't long before it was there one second and gone the next. I felt bad because my daughter saw it fall to it's death. A minute later my daughter screamed out loud like in a horror movie. The lizard suddenly reappeared right up close to her on the passengers side window. It's head was stretched back and was blowing around in the breeze while it was still clinging onto the glass. I gave her a camera to take a photo so that we would have some memory of it as it was surely going to fall off this time but she wasn't going to wind down the window to let it in. When we arrived at our destination the lizard was still in one piece so we left it on the car to let it get use to it's new surroundings and to find itself a new home. When we came back to the car the lizard was gone. I have not seen it again since and imagine that it has left the car, but now I am thinking that lizards are capable of anything.

Yes, it's all YOUR fault! LOL :lol:B)

No...It's all their fault. I just get blamed for it a lot.

I did have to repair some severe rat damage to the 145S's wiring as it sat for a good 10 years before I got it. Weber intake manifolds make a great place for Rat droppings to collect. Don't Ask Me How I Know.

No lizards, though. Or Chickens.

Hilariously done!

Its posted on www.oldholden.com now too.

Yeah in Australia a goanna might be found in place of teh iguana since we dont have them... Still I love lizards and would be overjoyed to find one making a home in my panelvan!

Although I wasnt so impressed with the 3inch wolf spider... (which I fed to my pet lizard  )

2Gstratus.org checking in from the US, this thread was great. If you still have him maybe you can recoop some of your losses by making a nice new leather wrap for the steering wheel and shifter out of him. Next time charge him rent

Guest crazy pete

if youre going to keep the iguana...

feed it romaine lettuce, not iceberg! iceberg bad! grapes, carrots, any veggies really, iggies love em!

handle it a lot and it will calm down and become more tame... if you dont hold it much it will always try to claw/scratch at you.
