Guest jakemtl
Hi,I recently bought a 2005 V50 2.4i. I have some very nice 15" Winter tires (from my previous car) that I would very much love to use again on the V50. The tires are 15" Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice - P20560R15. My Volvo dealer say's that a 15" wheel is possible on the V50 and that I can use my existing tires. He can get me Volvo steel wheels for the price of $150 each! At that price I am going to skip the 15" and go for aftermarket 16" wheels and tires! I have two questions:1) Is it really possible to use a 15" wheel on the V50 2.4i? I checked a couple of tire stores and everyone lists stuff starting at 16"2) If it is possible to use a 15" wheel, where can I find them for a reasonable price?ThanksJakemtl

There is also a 16"x6.5" wheel (30615721) available. There are two different brake options available for the S40. This means that some cars require 16" rims to clear the brakes. What size are your stock rims?
V Tuning 850
$150 a pop, try discounttiresdirect, I think they got them cheaper.I don't know if your bolt pattern is the same as 5x108 mmBut...I know it isn't for your specific model, however they might work, they might not. Someone should be able to answer this. Plus these are a lot cheaper too.OEM steelies for Vehicle Selected: 2005 VOLVO V70 2.4 15-INCHAnother bolt size found

The old -2003 S40s used 4x108. Have you tried to measure the outer diameter of your rotors? According to VADIS, If your rotor diameter is 11.25" or 286mm, then you can fit 15" rims. If it is equal to or greater than 12.00" (305mm), you need 16" steels. Also, Please register and fill in your location in your profile :)
