Cable has failed and it seems that there are no more in stock in this country. I had Volvo Customer Service check on the back order and they told me I had to wait until Jan/2006 for a new supplier to ship one to Canada!!! I was floored... Car is usless... Richard E-Mailed me back from MySwedishparts.com and stated that he does not have any stock of that part and confirmed Volvo being out of stock....
