Guest DougK
I've decided I want to use a 5 ch amp in t's wagon, and basicly am thinking as JL 500/5. The specs put it pretty close to the same setup Im running in the T5R right now, and to put it mildly, I love my stereo. But I am open to suggestions for other quality brands... mostly any better deals than a 5-600 dollar JL amp?doug

PyROZen
if your going 5 channel, get the new alpine 5.1 car setup we just got ours set up in the store the other day and it sounds amazing! only downside is you need another amp to push your subwoofer, and a dvd HU to get the full benefits. but if you got the $$$ you can bet you'll be one of the first in the country to have it in your car. Last i heard it as close to a grand?b

Last i heard it as close to a grand?bi work at audio express, the amp itself is around $1100, but the package price includes 4x 5 1/2 alpine type R componets, a type R "10 and a 500w alpine mono amp for the sub. The package is around $2000, but thats without a screen . the best part is if your screen has digital outs, you only have to run your power wire, digital out, and remote wire. we have yet to have somone buy it, lol.also, an alpine rep was the one who delivered it and he hinted at a double DIN alpine in the future you didn't hear that from me though ;)
Bing_0
forget double din, alpine just needs to sell all their cool japanese stuff here in the US with no changes b

PyROZen
hahaha ya I'll REALLY be able to talk T into that honestly i'll be surprised if we even sell one of those things in the next 20months i install decks all day long and they're never any of the good ones, only sony explodes and the non-excelon kenwoods. same goes for speakers as well.
