Asinine Posted October 26, 2005 Author Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 well i couldn't make this a poll in this forum, but i just tallied the votes, and it's 4 for a 54 and 9 for a 55.Of the cars i'm looking at two stand out that i'll look at tomorrow - 97 855, 96 854. Both black, the 854 has 144k, and the 855 has 216k (KMs).I only pay 7% tax on the 855, but 15% on the 54 and they are both listed for about the same price.Well see what i can get tomorrow. I have about 8 cars i want to see, of which 3 or 4 really have a chance, the others if the price becomes right or i find out some upside suprises!? I'm driving around a '89 740 right now with 543,000kms - now it's a piece of stuff and my dad doesn't maintain it which makes for constant embarassment on my part.KMs don't scare me, i do think the 855 with high (highway k's i'm told) will be well maintained.
